Colleen Ryor is an experienced editor in literary publishing and corporate communications. She is the founder and editor of The Adirondack Review, acclaimed on-line literary magazine, and founded Black Lawrence Press, where she worked for several years. She later went on to co-found Cooper Dillon Books with Adam Deutsch, who currently owns and operates the press. In the works is a new on-line humanities quarterly which will be dedicated to Western civilzation, art, history, and politics.

Colleen's editorial clients include both international corporations and writers whose manuscripts require a professional's keen eye. Her clients have included Motorola, Chanel, American Express, McGraw-Hill, Swarovski Crystal, and The College Board, makers of the SAT exam, some versions of which Colleen has edited.

Colleen is currently pursuing a Master of Arts with a concentration in History and Government at Stony Brook University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in German with minor study in French from the State University of New York at Saratoga Springs, Empire State College. She holds the Zertifikat Deutsch from the Goethe Institute in Germany and is hence certified in German as a foreign language at the B1 level under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
